Tox Don was a Rodian who served as a consultant to Senator Onaconda Farr during the final years of the Galactic Republic.
Biography[]
Around the time of the Subjugation of Naboo in 32 BBY, Tox, along with Pa Dua, accompanied Onaconda Farr, Tikkes of Dac, and Mot-Not Rab of Tarnab to attend an unofficial audience organized by Senator Orn Free Taa of Ryloth. At that point, Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum had just finished a crisis and was suddenly accused of corruption. Eventually, Valorum would be replaced by Senator Sheev Palpatine of Naboo. Tox and Pa remained at Farr's side during Palpatine's reign as Chancellor.
In 24 BBY, a variety of planets and corporations began to withdraw from the Galactic Senate in protest of the growing corruption of the government, beginning the Separatist Crisis. Because of the crisis, the Senate began to discuss the Military Creation Act, which would create an army for the Galactic Republic. During the discussion in the Senate, Tox and Pa were present when Farr objected Palpatine's attempts to negotiate directly with the leader of the Separatist Movement, Count Dooku.
Two years later, Tox and Pa were present in a Senate session, prior to the vote for the Military Creation Act, when Farr released a "list of 245" individuals within the Judicial and Legislative branches of the Galactic Republic, accusing them of been connected to the Separatist Alliance, which included Havriso Looruya who was a member of the Loyalist Committee. Though the Senate protested these accusations, the Judicial Department confirmed that the charge against Looruya was indeed legitimate, leading to Looruya's resignation from office.
After the Clone Wars started when the Grand Army of the Republic launched an attack on the planet Geonosis, Tox and Pa were supportive to Farr and the rest of the Loyalist Committee that supported the emergency powers. However, while Rodia was left undefended by the Republic, Tox and Pa were killed by pirates that attacked the supply lines of the planet.
