Toma Hi'llani was a Jedi Master who served the Old Jedi Order during the final decades of the Galactic Republic.
Biography[]
A Force-sensitive Human male, Toma Hi'llani was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and learned the ways of the Force. Years later, Toma eventually ascended to the rank of Jedi Master and trained independently as a Jedi Sentinel. During the time of the Separatist Crisis, Master Hi'llani became one of the Order's foremost technician authorities on technology, and it was common for Jedi Knights serving in the field to keep their datapads updated with Master Hi'llani's latest techniques.
When the Clone Wars erupted after the First Battle of Geonosis in 22 BBY, Toma remained at the Temple, refusing to serve in the Grand Army of the Republic. After the war was at an end in 19 BBY, Toma was stationed at the Temple when Order 66 was executed by Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, who was revealed to the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. When Darth Vader led the 501st Legion to destroy all the Jedi in the Temple, Master Toma and a number of Jedi engaged their new enemy and defend the temple at all cost until they were perished in the massacre.
