Tarados Gon was a male Klatooinian Jedi Knight actively serving the Old Jedi Order during the final period of the Old Galactic Republic. Before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, he was part of a strike team of 200 Jedi that accompanied Mace Windu to Geonosis and rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala from the captivity of Count Dooku and the Separatist Alliance. After surviving the initial fighting in the Petranaki Arena, Gon escaped with Eeth Koth, and Sora Bulq onboard a Low Altitude Assault Transport/Infantry out of the arena. However, he was killed when their gunship was shot down shortly thereafter, but Koth and Bulq managed to survive.
Biography
A male Klatooinian from the world of Klatooine, Tarados Gon was discovered to be a Forceful User while he was a child. After his family made their decision, Gon was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant where he entered into the Jedi Order's academy and began training in the ways of the Force. Eventually graduating and being selected as a Padawan by a Jedi Master, Gon trained for several years across the galaxy before passing his Trials of Knighthood, and being made a Knight of the Republic by the Jedi High Council. Wielding a blue-bladed lightsaber of his own making, Jedi Gon began accepting solo missions from the High Council and defending the principles of the Republic.
Stationed at the Temple in 22 BBY, Gon was ordered by Master of the Order Mace Windu to pilot a starfighter to Geonosis on a rescue mission to save Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Senator Padmé Amidala from execution by the Separatist Alliance. Part of a task force of 200 other Jedi, Gon set down on the plains of the dusty world and stormed the Petranaki Arena's stadium, igniting his blue blade amidst the crowds of Geonosian spectators. Leaping down into the arena, Gon fought valiantly along with his brother and sister Jedi against the droid horde of the Confederacy, joining a small group of survivors in the center of the arena when Confederacy leader Count Dooku attempted to barter with the Jedi. Refusing his offer to join the Separatists in exchange for their lives, Gon prepared to fight to the death with the rest of his colleagues just as Grand Master Yoda arrived with several Republic gunships to rescue the outnumbered Jedi.
Boarding one of the gunships with Masters Sora Bulq and Eeth Koth, Gon's ship departed from the arena and headed out onto the plains to combat the fleeing Separatist fleet. While the gunships headed to the battlefield proper, Gon's ship was struck by enemy fire and exploded. While Masters Koth and Bulq survived the crash, Tarados Gon did not make it.
