Samara was a female Twi'lek who was one of the freedom fighters that were led by Cham Syndulla during the Clone Wars.
Biography[]
Hailing from the planet Ryloth, Samara lived during the last decades of the Galactic Republic's rule and was one of his planet's nobility. In the year 22 BBY, mere months after the Clone Wars began, the Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor invaded Ryloth with the Separatist Droid Army. While Syndulla wanted his people to be free of the Separatist oppression, Samara was one of the many Twi'leks that joined the Twi'lek Freedom Fighters, a resistance to combat the Confederacy of Independent Systems and free their homeworld without the help of the Republic. However, she was killed during the initial stages of the battle of Ryloth. After her death, Samara was buried in a Twi'lek graveyard, and his name was inscribed in Aurebesh on the gravestone.
