Rasit Brun was a Human male Senator who represented Rintonne and the Lambda Sector in the Galactic Senate of the Old Galactic Republic during the Separatist Crisis. When the Senate became a military incident after Kendra Tissido was attacked by battle droids in 22 BBY, Brun opened a declaration of war and accused the senator of the Trade Federation, Lott Dod, that the company was involved in this incident and Ando have supplied them with weapons.
A Human male from Rintonne, Rasit Brun served as a Senator of the Old Galactic Republic shortly before the Clone Wars, an inter galactic conflict that would soon rise throughout the galaxy. Sometime when the Separatist Crisis emerged, Senator Brun represented his planet and the Lambda Sector in the Galactic Senate of the Republic. When it came to a military incident near the Ando System in the year 22 BBY, in which the space traveler Kendra Tissido was attacked and killed by droid starfighters, Brun condemned this act as an open declaration of war and accused Lott Dod, the senator of the Trade Federation, that the company was involved in this incident and Ando have supplied them with weapons. This act would soon lead to the Clone Wars against the Separatist Alliance.
In 19 BBY, the final of the Clone Wars, Rasit and a number of other political figures joined the Delegation of 2000. Like every delegate, Rasit felt really concerned and suspicious that Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine had continued his usage of emergency powers and the new office of Moff was been formed. Rasit feared and the delegates rightly feared for the future of democracy in the Republic, and demanded that the Chancellor should step out of office at once. However, their efforts failed when Palpatine, who was known to be the Sith Lord Darth Sidious that the Jedi discovered, reformed the Republic into the First Galactic Empire and became the first Emperor to rule Coruscant and the whole Senate. Refusing to submit to the Empire's rule, Rasit was arrested by new Imperial Intelligence and executed for treason.
