Nanda-Ree Janoo was a Mirialan Jedi Knight who served the Old Jedi Order during the time of the Clone Wars. Together with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Janoo led a Republic task force that destroyed a Separatist experimental jamming platform.
Biography[]
A Force-sensitive Mirialan female from the world of Mirial, Nanda-Ree joined the Old Jedi Order at a very young age and learned the ways of the Force. Receiving the rank of Padawan, Nanda-Ree continued her training with an unknown master. After passing the Trials of Knighthood, Janoo was elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight.
When the Clone Wars erupted across the galaxy between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems,became a General within the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic. At some point during the conflict, Janoo was assigned to work with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi in leading a task force to the planet Balamak in order to destroy an experimental communications jamming array. During the battle above the planet, Janoo piloted a starfighter against the CIS fleet. After fellow Jedi Anakin Skywalker destroyed the array, the Republic forces returned to Coruscant.
