  • Lott Dod was a male Neimoidian who joined the Trade Federation as an aide to Nute Gunray. When the latter became Viceroy, Dod was promoted to Senator and continued to act as one of the former's trusted lieutenants while also representing the cartel's interests as a whole in the Galactic Senate of the Republic.

When the Clone Wars broke out, he had a speeder accident that required him having a surgery. Alongside Gunray, Dod claimed that the Trade Federation was still loyal to the true government and that those who supported the Separatists were but extremists. In fact, he received a healthy income which he shared with his master to ensure that both sides are well equipped and that the war rages on. He himself was a member of the Separatist Senate and was involved in a scheme to fool the Republic into giving him funds that would be used to build a new droid foundry for Count Dooku on Geonosis.

After this, his betrayal wasn't revealed yet as he retained his position because the Republic wanted to use him in order to seek a peaceful end to the conflict. He would later be contacted by Dooku and be sent to Toydaria as a representative in order to persuade King Katuunko into either remaining neutral or joining with the Separatist Alliance. He failed however due to the intervention of Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan and Jar Jar Binks of Naboo, who were there on behalf of the Republic.
