Ixian Rovieda was a male Ithorian Jedi Knight who served the Old Jedi Order during the twilight days of the Old Republic. He was one of the four Jedi sent to Kabal just prior to the Clone Wars, along with Nygreena Clo, Plessus Ghon, and Padawan Renxis Dielle. The Jedi attempted to end the month-long riots in Shoribus, the planet's capital, due to food shortages. The riots were finally ended by food parcels dropped by Separatist freighters, but only after the four Jedi had been murdered.

Biography[]

A male Ithorian from the world of Ithor, Ixian Rovieda was discovered near birth to be Force-sensitive and raised at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. As a Jedi Initiate, Ixian began to learn the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order. Eventually graduating and studying as a Padawan, Rovieda passed the Jedi Trials and was recognized as a Jedi Knight by the Jedi High Council.

Prior to the Clone Wars in 22 BBY, a Separatist Movement was sweeping the galaxy, igniting conflicts between worlds and threatened to tear the Galactic Republic apart. While the Jedi Knights were spread thin, doing their best effort to help the peoples of the galaxy and to contain and quell the violence, Ixian Rovieda was dispatched by the Jedi High Council, along with fellow Knights Nygreena Clo, Plessus Ghon, and Padawan Renxis Dielle, serving as an envoy to the planet Kabal where riots were tearing through the city of Shoribus. Their job was to help quell the riots. However, Ixian and the Jedi were unable to help stop the maddened crowds and were killed in the riots when the Confederacy of Independent Systems dropped parcels of rations and other food stuff within the city. Holos of the riots showed the bodies of Ixian and the other Jedi Knights, which were confirmed to be genuine by the Jedi Council, and Ixian and those on the task force were added to the unfortunate growing number of Jedi lost in conflicts.
