Den Flerotuh was a Human Jedi Knight who served the Old Jedi Order during the final period of the Galactic Republic. Before the Clone Wars erupted, Den was one of the two hundred Jedi who went on a mission to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Aankin Skywalker, and Senator Padmé Amidala from Separatist captivity. He fought against a large number of Battle droids from the Separatist Droid Army in the Petranaki Arena, and was killed in the battle.
Biography[]
Born in the final decades of the Galactic Republic, Den was raised by the Jedi Order. As a young Initiate, Den began his training in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, learnign the ways of the Force. After reaching the rank of Padawan, Den was selected by a Master who would help continue his training once he reaches the rank of Jedi Knight. He eventually passed his trials, and became a Jedi Knight.
In 22 BBY, before the outbreak of the Clone Wars between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Den was stationed at the Temple during the Military Creation Act and was one of the 200 Jedi that joined Mace Windu's strike team. Arriving on the desert world of Geonosis, the homeworld of the Geonosians that joined the Separatist Alliance, Den his Jedi brothers and sisters stormed into the Petranaki Arena to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala from been executed by the Separatists. Engaging the Separatist Droid Army, Den was soon overwhelmed by Battle Droids that surrounded and shot him to death.
