Born on the world of Naboo, Boraso was a Human male who sought a career outside the one presented by his family. He applied to join the Royal Naboo Security Forces, and did so successfully, with both exceptional aptitude scores and physical achievements. In 32 BBY, Boraso was injured during the Trade Federation's Invasion of Naboo and subsequently imprisoned. He aided in a prison break also involving captured agents of the Naboo Underground, providing them with a set of security tools in his belt when he was captured, but did not have the personal expertise to use the tools.
Ten years later, as the growing Separatist Crisis threatened the stability of the Old Galactic Republic, Naboo's queen, Jamillia, opened borders, allowing refugees, displaced by the secession of worlds to the Separatist Alliance, to find sanctuary on her planet. During that time, Boraso served the Chommell Sector's representative in the Galactic Senate, Senator Padmé Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo. When the senator made her journey to Coruscant to vote against the Military Creation Act, Boraso was aboard the barge. As it touched down on a landing platform and the passengers disembarked, the ship exploded. The ship was ripped apart instantly, and Boraso perished in the blast. However, Senator Amidala had not been on the ship at all, and instead, one of her handmaidens, Cordé, had taken her place, and died in her stead. The assasin responsible for the explosion was the bounty hunter Zam Wesell, who disguised herself as a journalist and used lieutenant Theomet Danlé in order to set the explosion device.
