Ak-Buz was a male Weequay who was the captain of Jabba Desilijic Tiure's sail barge, Khetanna. In 4 ABY, he was murdered by Dannik Jerriko and his body was found by the palace chef, Porcellus. Gartogg the Gamorrean saw Porcellus standing over Ak-Buz's body, and was told that the Weequay had fallen asleep. Porcellus then hid the body in a garbage heap. The body was later found by Barada.

Biography[]

Born on the planet Sriluur, Ak-Buz left his homeworld and settled on the desert world of Tatooine. During the beginning of the First Galactic Civil War, Ak-Buz served as a loyal guard of Jabba the Hutt's Criminal Empire. When Jabba the Hutt acquired the Khetanna, Ak-Buz became the captain of the sail barge and used it for business trips, lavish parties, and tours across the deserts of Tatooine.

In 4 ABY, Ak-Buz secretly stole a windbag from the kitchen of Jabba's Palace. However, his efforts failed when he was thereby caught by the palace chef, Porcellus. While he was running, he threw down the treats. Shortly thereafter, he encountered the Anzati Dannik Jerriko, who used the elixir to suck the Weequay with its tentacles through the nose to the brain. After killing the Weequay guard, Jerriko would then place Ak'Buz's corpse open in a corridor of the palace, so that it would be found. Porcellus then found the body and when he was bent over the corpse, he was discovered by Gartogg, one of the Gamorrean guards. Porcellus told him Ak-Buz was asleep and then hid the Weequay in a scrap heap to divert suspicion from himself.
